Had an amazing morning today, Queensland Police Service had me present my book
The Courage to Lead – Resilience and Compassion in Police Command
as part of their Leadership Masterclass programme at Police Headquarters in Roma Street, Brisbane.
A very engaging audience that were all given a copy of my book (4 x boxes) by the Leadership Directorate of the QPS.
The theme of my talk and my book is all about;
Evolving Leadership, how to give yourself a chance to lead major events like The Mosman Collar Bomb and the 1st 2 hours of the Lindt Cafe Siege, and then pay that experience forward so we prepare our people, our partner agencies and our communities to be ready for the next big thing. The second part of my talk and book is about how to form a formidable leadership team that empowers others to create a supportive and inclusive workplace where people can thrive.
